Rob Fanter
Rob is an analytical chemist in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Science (CAFES) at Cal Poly. He has acted as the lab manager and sole instrument operator for the Cal Poly Metabolomics Service Center since its launch in 2018. His areas of expertise include LC-MS/MS method development, QA/QC, and instrumentation maintenance and repair. Prior to joining Cal Poly in 2017, he managed the proteomics core facility at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and oversaw the analytical instrument lab at the Oak Crest Institute of Science. He holds a biochemistry master's degree from UCLA.
